Our Banking client in **Toronto, Ontario** is looking to hire a **Senior Business Analyst** for a **6-months contract role with possibility for extension.**
**What you will be doing**
- Working with the Director, Global Procurement - Functions, this role will influence sourcing decisions, drive supplier negotiations through RFI/RFQ/RFP or direct negotiations, draft contract terms and coordinate review by centres of governance and the law group, drive cost savings and cost avoidance efforts.
- This role will partner with senior management to proactively develop negotiation and contract strategies for high risk/complex and sensitive sourcing initiatives.
- This role will gather and analyze data to create playbooks and strategies to support the different business models for services contemplated or currently under contract and prepare findings for senior management.
- This role will develop and negotiate complex (strategically critical, high value, or high risk) contract strategies that will provide cost effective, sustainable solutions to RBC businesses, and optimizing total value generated from RBC’s supplier base.
**What you will need to succeed**
**Must Have Skills**:
- Global procurement experience.
- Experience with procurement law and regulations.
- Experience leading deals with $3M contract value and above.
- Senior Stake Holder experience.
