Tasks

**Your Responsibilities**:
Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Provide financial leadership, guidance and business partnering in cross-functional teams
- Understand the business, especially the departments of assigned responsibility, to identify cost drivers, trends, and provide financial variance analysis and other insights into financial results
- Proactively anticipate and clarify future issues, risks and opportunities, recommending corrective actions to meet the annual budget and strategic plan
- Serve as a key resource in the compilation of budgets and forecasts, ensuring accuracy and integrity of data and information used through collaborating with and challenging area leaders
- Develop ad hoc reports and provide analysis to support senior leaders with decision making
- Coach and train budget owners to enhance cost awareness, accountability and forecasting accuracy
- Identify, lead, and support improvements to business process and interfaces within the finance function and cross functionally
- Responsible for supporting month end procedures including preparation of journal entries, area cost and classification review and variance analysis

**Your Profile**:

- CPA Designation preferred
- Minimum 5 years experience in Finance Operations; Manufacturing or Mining Environment preferred
- Advanced knowledge of financial planning, financial modeling and management reporting
- Experienced in advanced data analytics, querying and reporting
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite, with in-depth knowledge of Excel and Analytical Tools
- Experience with SAP/BW, HANA, and larger ERP systems considered an asset
- Experience with SAP Analytics Cloud considered an asset
- Demonstrated time management skills, and ability to prioritize when involved with multiple initiatives and changing priorities
- Ability to work accurately under pressure
- Ability to work with others as a team
- Demonstrates fluency in English orally and in written form
- Must be authorized to legally work in Canada
