**Business Development Manager (89291)**

**Working Model: 100% Remote**

**Location: Southwestern, Ontario**

**Where the Chemistry Happens**:
As a Business Development Manager, you will act as consultant for our larger, strategic customers. You will primarily support customers in value added activities including but not limited to: development of SOP’s, consultation on business process improvement, analysis of body shop metrics for areas of improvement with suggestions and action plans to support, identify and deliver training needs to customers on value added tools (reporting etc.), train front office on job costing effectively to help increase profits, train shops operational opportunities (5S,estimatics, scheduling, blueprinting etc.). Your main goal is to help their customers business improve. This may be any aspect of business training, key performance indicator tracking, or process improvements.

**Formula for Success: You Will**:

- Identify and build relationship with top strategic customers in your area by aligning with account reps and distribution partners.
- Track business KPI’s and review with customers to help improve business metrics. Use Reporting Portal for consistent measuring.
- Establish service level agreements with all new BDM customers we will regularly support along with any existing accounts where an SLA is appropriate. Use SLA template within Salesforce.
- Work with customers on identifying ways to improve business processes. Getting more cars through their business by improving their efficiencies. Utilize APS/ARS modules, Refinity Business Training.
- Train shop and front office on job costing inside of SmarTrak/Refinity along with management system integration.
- Consistently communicate and work with regional team (Regional Business Manager, Sales Reps, Tech Reps) as needed to ensure customer’s needs are being met and everyone is on the same page.
- Utilize Growth Insights Tool/Opportunity Optimizer with customers looking at new OE certification programs, wanting market data for their business, or to target new business markets for them to move into.
- Aid Sales Reps in closing new deals with strategic customers by helping to sell BASF and our value-added solutions.
- Plan market visit activities proactively to control and limit T&E expenses.

- Bachelor's degree.
- Experience in business project management within the automotive collision or automotive refinish paint industry is required.
- Strong customer focus.
- Background in positioning business solutions for commercial success.
- Self-starter approach.
- Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
