Customer Service Representative

A privately held Canadian Company, we are a successful supply chain partner providing “Intelligent Delivery” of products and solutions to the Industrial, Environmental, and Plastics industries. We currently operate two manufacturing sites in Colborne and Elmira, Ontario, and have supporting warehouses and sales

**Position**: Customer Service Representative**

**Location**: Colborne, ON.**

**Reports to**: Customer Service Supervisor**

The Customer Service Representative has the following responsibilities:

- Provide excellent service to our customers by procuring orders and handling general inquiries for Manufactured and Distribution products
- Able to translate kgs. and lbs. weight and prices CAD to USF efficiently and with accuracy
- Knowledge of documentation required for shipping to USA (TSCA, Customs papers)
- Act as a liaison between customers, product managers and sales team; follow-up on queries and issues
- Ability to meet customer requirements within reason and in the best interest of CCC
- Co-ordinate shipments out of third-party warehouses across Canada and understand personnel to inform and work with.
- Review pricing on all orders for GP maintenance, seeking approval and documenting if required, before confirming order and/or shipping
- Proactively review changes to customer forecasts/product usage and communicate in a timely manner to Vendor Support Teams and Product Managers, as required
- Process return requests, debits, and credits
- Work closely with Sales Managers and Sales Representatives to create and maintain customer profiles
- Some administrative duties for back up purposes (UPS, re-directing calls, letter writing)
- Some flexibility with hours and occasional holiday coverage (USA and Canadian holidays)

**Background Required**:

- College diploma in business or administration or equivalent experience
- 3-5 years’ experience in a customer service environment, or customer/supplier support environment
- A strong working knowledge of English required - written and spoken with French being a definite asset
- A strong team player with a high degree of initiative and positive attitude
- Flexibility with ability to work under pressure
- Proficiency in MS Office; working knowledge of order entry systems would be an asset
- Above average interpersonal skills and telephone skills to deal with demanding people
- Strong team player; Problem solver
- Ability to multi
- task at a very high level with accuracy
