We are hiring for a Host, Wildlight Kitchen + Bar at our location in Vancouver, BC near the UBC area.
You will be responsible for:
- Taking reservations and maintaining reservation system.- Warmly greeting guests in a friendly and courteous manner & escorting guests to tables and assisting in seating.- Ensuring that menus are accurate, clean and free of rips or stains.- Assisting guests with locating their server if needed.- Preparing tables and always maintaining the cleanliness of the restaurant.- Maintaining a complete knowledge and understanding of menus items.- Thanking guests and inviting them to return again.- Supporting other areas of the restaurant as necessary.
You have:
- Previous restaurant/host experience is considered an asset.You are:
- A strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate clearly and directly with guests.- Detail oriented with a focus on speed and accuracy.- Adaptable, open to change and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation Details:
$16.75 - $20.00
The compensation offered for this position will take into consideration location, education, skills, experience, and other factors.
