Ur Dental Clinic, a fast-growing dental practice located in North York, is seeking a Dental Receptionist who is a **Level I Dental Assistant** As a reputable clinic committed to exceptional dental care, we pride ourselves on our experienced, caring, and enthusiastic staff. We offer a welcoming and positive office environment that values teamwork and collaboration to ensure our patients receive the best dental care.
- Level I Dental Assistant
- Proficiency in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
- Warm and friendly demeanour, capable of creating a positive and inviting atmosphere.
- Demonstrates a strong work ethic and takes pride in delivering excellent customer service.
- Possesses excellent computer and technological skills. Prior experience with dental practice management software, such as Tracker, is highly desirable.
- Experience with practise management software, particularly Curve (preferred)

**Responsibilities**:

- Greeting patients in a professional and courteous manner upon their arrival and efficiently managing patient check-out processes, including scheduling, insurance EDI submissions, billing, and payments.
- Skillfully managing appointment schedules to optimize clinic efficiency and maintain a smooth patient flow.
- Accurately filing, maintaining, pulling, and organizing digital patient charts, ensuring proper record-keeping and data management.
- Effectively liaising with insurance companies to handle estimates, claims, and dental plan coverages on behalf of patients.
- Preparing contracts, financial documents, and predeterminations for insurance claims and patients, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Providing comprehensive administrative support within the office, assisting with various tasks and ensuring smooth operations.
- Collaborating with team members to uphold a cohesive and harmonious work environment.

**Salary**: $20.00-$23.00 per hour

**Education**:

- Secondary School (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Certified Dental Assistant Level I (required)
