Manual Machinist

**Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Operate manual lathes and milling machines to produce high-quality components.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine specifications and tolerances.
- Utilize power tools and measuring instruments, including calipers, to ensure accuracy in machining processes.
- Fabricate parts according to precise measurements and specifications.
- Maintain equipment by performing regular inspections, cleaning, and minor repairs.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to improve machining processes and product designs using SolidWorks.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.

**Qualifications**
- Proven experience as a Manual Machinist with a strong understanding of machining principles.
- Proficiency in operating lathes, milling machines, and other manual machining equipment.
- Strong skills in blueprint reading and technical drawing interpretation.
- Experience with SolidWorks or similar CAD software is preferred.
- Ability to use various power tools safely and effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $42.50-$45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
