**Job Summary**
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our construction team as a Site Assistant. As a Site Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the successful completion of construction projects. Your primary responsibility will be to assist the Site Supervisor and team in various tasks to ensure efficient project execution.
**Job Duties & Responsibilities**
- Provide general support to the construction site manager and team members.
- Assist in the coordination of construction activities, ensuring adherence to project schedules.
- Help with the setup and maintenance of construction site facilities and equipment.
- Perform physical labor, including lifting, carrying, and moving construction materials.
- Conduct regular inspections of the construction site, identifying and reporting potential safety hazards.
- Assist in the implementation of safety protocols and guidelines.
- Support the management of construction site documentation, including permits and daily reports.
- Collaborate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project operations.
- Maintain a clean and organized construction site, including proper waste disposal.
- Follow instructions from supervisors and communicate effectively with team members.
- Complete other tasks as required.
**Skills & Qualifications**
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in the construction industry is preferred but not required.
- Basic knowledge of construction tools, equipment, and materials.
- Physical fitness and the ability to perform manual labor in various weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
