**Who are we looking for?**

Our **Vancouver, BC **office is seeking a **Chemical/Process **EIT **to join our **Waste Management Team, **one of our fastest growing Canadian Operations. You would join our North American solid waste group of 80 professionals. Professional development opportunities through the GHD Business School including internal global technical conferences and external training are available and participation in relevant industry associations is supported and encouraged. Engineering support is also included for a variety of business groups including: Contaminated Sites, Water & Wastewater, Transportation, Energy, and Emergency Response.

**Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in**:

- Project Coordination
- Design Reviews
- Technology Review and Selection
- PFD and P&ID preparation/support
- Mass and energy balance preparation/support
- Equipment design and procurement
- Specification and bid/construction document preparation
- System start-up and commissioning
- Process troubleshooting
- Proposal preparation and cost estimates

**What you will bring to this role**:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Chemical/Process Engineering
- 0-3 years of experience in Chemical/Process Design and or related projects
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work both within a team and independently
- Great teammate, cooperative with other staff with open sharing of information and knowledge
- Builds rapport; shows ability to influence with or without formal authority
- Excellent organizational skills with ability to prioritize projects and tasks in a fast paced environment
- Good judgment and decisiveness

Salary Range (Vancouver, British Columbia): $59,798 to $80,903
