**Technician / Repair Person**

**$40 - 55 K annual + benefits package (after 3-month probation)**

Waterra Pumps is looking for a permanent, full-time, organized, hands-on person to do equipment repairs, production, and help out in our in our warehouse. This is a hands-on position with lots of variety during the Monday-Friday 40 hour work week.

Repairing and assembling various types of field equipment for groundwater sampling in a warehouse / shop environment working environment under the guidance of a senior technician. Shop experience, mechanical ability, electrical or electronic background an asset.

You are a personable team player who is organized and detail oriented. You are technical oriented with mechanical and electronic knowledge. You like a fast-paced environment. And you must be happy and willing to drop all to help load or unload trucks. You will be asked to help move inventory and help organize it.

You’d be ready to help where needed including repairing pumps and equipment and co-ordinating with customers. The position is in our Mississauga warehouse on Dixie Road just south of the 401. We are intent on building a genuine team and are looking for a smart, enthusiastic hardworking individual. Remuneration based on experience, competence, and attitude.

Waterra Pumps is a growing manufacturing and sales company that sells pumps, filters, and accessories for sampling groundwater. Our customer base is in Canada, the United States and around the globe.

**Position Summary**
- Learn equipment repair flow and co-ordinate with clients
- Provide quotes for equipment repair
- Receive and keep track of repairs
- Respond to requests and inquiries including from our Calgary facility
- Help us maintain our ISO 9001: 2015 designation.
- Help create and maintain a great team environment.

**Required Skills and Experience**:At least 1 year of relevant experience
- Mechanical aptitude to assist with repairs, assembly, and production
- Electronics background helpful.
- This is physical work so physical strength, and endurance are a must
- Able to lift 50 - 75 pounds
- Computer skills including MS Office and MS Excel required
- Knowing Autodesk Fusion a plus
- Detail oriented with strong multi-tasking skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Able to work proactively to complete tasks and responsibilities independently
- Team philosophy and willing to actively promote a safe, respectful team environment.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $40,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
