Safety and Compliance Specialist

**Job Summary**

**Job Duties and Responsibilities**
- Maintain comprehensive safety and compliance programs to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Review regular inspections, and risk assessments of facilities, equipment, and operations to identify potential safety and compliance issues with drivers
- Collaborate with safety leaders to develop and update safety policies, documents training or discipline.
- Provide guidance and training to employees on safety protocols, procedures, and best practices.
- Work with the safety team to investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses, and recommend corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
- Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, discipline and minutes documentation.
- Monitor changes in safety and compliance regulations and communicate relevant updates to the organization.
- Provide administrate support to the safety manager

**Job Requirements**
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working in a similar role
- Goop's understanding of safety Laws, codes, and standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with teams members and drivers
- Ability to lead and facilitate safety training and workshops.
- Ability to work with and manage confidential information and use independent judgment.
- Detail and process-oriented.

**Preferred**
- Previous experience in supply chain\logistics environment
- Experience working with TMS software.
