**Role**

The Accounting Technician reports to the Senior Accounting Manager and is responsible for managing the day-to-day accounting operations and assuring quality control.

The Accounting Technician works closely with the management team to identify, recommend, develop, and implement cost-effective accounting & financial systems in support of operations.

The Accounting Technician is highly driven and self-motivated and comfortable working in a high growth, fast-paced environment.

**Primary Responsibilities**
- AP Management
- AR Management
- Credit card management
- Checks and Deposits
- Bank and Credit card reconciliation
- Account analysis
- Inter-Company transactions
- Multi-currencies transactions & FX gain/loss
- Project based accounting & revenues recognition
- Tax credit incentives (Canada)
- Sales tax (Canada)
- US/CDN/UK payroll management

**Who you are**
- 5+ years of accounting experience
- Experience working with US entities a plus
- Experience using QuickBooks
- Understanding of generally accepted accounting principles, inter-company transactions, and cash flows
- Ability to work with multiple business units/divisions
- Strong technical skills and familiarity with managing financial statements and analyses
- Flexible attitude to working in a cross-functional, team-based and multicultural organization
- Able to manage stress effectively
- Bilingual French and English (required)

**Description du poste**

Le technicien comptable relève du directeur principal de la comptabilité et est chargé de gérer les opérations comptables quotidiennes et d'assurer le contrôle de la qualité.

Le technicien comptable travaille en étroite collaboration avec l'équipe de direction pour identifier, recommander, développer et mettre en œuvre des systèmes comptables et financiers rentables à l'appui des opérations.

Le technicien comptable est très motivé, et à l'aise de travailler dans un environnement à forte croissance et au rythme rapide.

- Gestion de la RA
- Gestion des cartes de crédit
- Chèques et cautions
- Rapprochement bancaire et carte de crédit
- Analyse de compte
- Transactions inter-sociétés
- Transactions multi-devises et gain/perte de change
- Comptabilité basée sur les projets et reconnaissance des revenus
- Incitatifs au crédit d'impôt (Canada)
- Taxe de vente (Canada)
- Gestion de la paie US/CDN/UK

**Qui êtes-vous**
- 5 ans et plus d'expérience en comptabilité
- Expérience de travail avec des entités américaines, un atout
- Expérience avec QuickBooks
- Compréhension des principes comptables généralement reconnus, des transactions interentreprises et des flux de trésorerie
- Capacité à travailler avec plusieurs unités/divisions commerciales
- Solides compétences techniques et familiarité avec la gestion des états financiers et des analyses
- Attitude flexible pour travailler dans une organisation interfonctionnelle, basée sur une équipe et multiculturelle
- Capable de gérer efficacement le stress
- Bilingue français et anglais (obligatoire)
