We are seeking an experienced and professional Optometric Assistant to join our team in downtown Toronto. As an Optometric Assistant, you will work alongside our Optometrists and provide exceptional patient care while ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our office.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist Optometrists with patient care including visual field testing and OCT imaging
- Schedule and confirm appointments with patient
- Manage patient flow and ensure timely delivery of services
- Conduct pre-screening tests and gather patient information
- Process orders for contact lenses
- Maintain patient records and update databases
- Perform other duties as assigned

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience as an Optometric Assistant an asset
- Knowledge of visual field and OCT testing an asset
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office required and exposure to electronic medical records software an asset
- High attention to detail and accuracy a must

**Salary**: $15.50-$20.00 per hour

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

Work Location: One location

Expected start date: 2023-05-01
