Kelowna, Canada Gallaghers Canyon Property Owners Association Full time

Gallaghers Canyon Property Owners Association (GCPOA) is hiring a full-time Administrative Assistant. This is a one-year, temporary maternity leave position.

The Village at Gallaghers Canyon is a 644-unit strata residential community with approximately 1300 residents located in Southeast Kelowna.

The community boasts numerous parks and green spaces, as well as access to golfing, hiking trails, and cycling routes. The Village Centre has a fitness building, an indoor swimming pool and hot tub, billiard tables, and ping pong. Gallagher's residents also have access to organized hobbies like woodwork, art, and pottery.

The Administrative Assistant reports to the Village Manager. Duties will include, but are not limited to:

- Participates as a team member regarding various initiatives and projects within the development.
- Maintains resident database and ensures all information is correct and up to date.
- Manage door and gate schedule, and phone directory at gate.
- Manage building access with fobs and gate access with codes and decals.
- Create a monthly newsletter for residents.
- Send correspondence to the community as needed.
- Add documents for access by the residents/tenants to the private website and perform or coordinate website design changes.
- Maintain the website accounts used by the residents/tenants to access the private website including account setup, removal, and password resets.
- Support the Village Manager and Office Administrator on tasks as needed.

**Qualifications**
- Must be organized, reliable, and a self-starter.
- Must be patient and have sound judgment.
- Must be capable of working in a collaborative environment.
- Must have leadership skills.
- Must be a creative thinker and problem solver.
- Must have excellent written and oral communication skills and be able to compose documents and utilize other communication skills.

**Salary**: $21.00-$25.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

Work Location: In person
