This job offers the opportunity to work from home as part of a hybrid work arrangement. This arrangement will allow you to work some days at a TCHC work location and the rest of the time from home. The amount of time required to work at a TCHC work location is flexible, while considering operational and service delivery requirements.

**Make a difference**

TCHC (Toronto Community Housing Corporation) is seeking a full time Organizational Change Management Advisor to oversee the successful planning, implementation, and adoption of organizational changes related to IT initiatives. Reporting to the Director, IT Service Excellence & Project Delivery, this role will ensure that the organization is prepared for the change and that all communication elements are considered. Of primary focus is effective communication and planning throughout the project/change lifecycle to ensure awareness, adoption, and create a healthy feedback loop. This role will also be responsible for developing a framework and processes to ensure that organizational change management is embedded in the project management plans.

**What you’ll do**
- Lead Change Management Activities_
- Applies a structured project and organizational change management approach and framework to support adoption of the changes required by various IT initiatives
- Contributes to the ongoing development and refinement of TCHC Organizational Change Management processes to support IT initiatives
- in collaboration with HR’s - Learning and Organizational Development Team.
- Collaborates with the project team to help identify and recommend areas of change and develop a change management plan based on situational awareness of the details of the change and the stakeholders being impacted by it
- Conducts change-related activities including readiness assessment, change impact analysis, resistance and performance gaps, and adoption measurements
- Presents findings to various stakeholders for awareness and to get their buy-in
- Identifies potential organizational change risks, anticipated points of resistance and identify specific actions to address. Develop set of actionable and targeted change management plans including communication plan, sponsor support plan, coaching plan, and resistance management plan
- Defines and establishes success metrics as a baseline and monitor change progress
- Supports Communication Efforts_
- Provides advice and guidance on project communications at the project's various phases to incorporate into the learning and improvement cycle
- Develops and tailor key messages to different audiences and user groups (in collaboration with Strategic Communications team)
- Writes, edits, designs, and develops, or oversees the development of a range of, support tools including training material, user guide and templates that promote effective communications to support the successful transition
- Designs and establishes an “IT Newsletter” to provide regular updates to the organization including key messages and quick tips about in-flight ITS activities and upcoming changes
- Develops and maintain IT Newsletter content through engagement with different internal and external stakeholders
- Stakeholder Engagement_
- Ensures organization stakeholders are aware of and understand the rationale for change.
- Assesses organizational change readiness by supporting stakeholder management, including participating in stakeholder change impact assessments. Solicits feedback and ideas as input to process improvement and identifies potential change champions.
