**General Responsibilities**
- Welcome and assist customers that visit the store
- Foster a sense of teamwork with all team members
- Respond to customer inquiries with comprehensive product knowledge and accuracy
- Professionally and courteously handle all inquiries, feedback, complaints or concerns
- Maintain a high level of product knowledge
- Adhere to and uphold store loss prevention systems; observe for signs of disorder or criminal activity and communicate issues to management.
- Ensure store is clean and tidy and merchandise is well-displayed and stocked
- Prevent cannabis sales to anyone under the age of 19, by reviewing government issued photo identification to validate permission to enter
- Stay up to date on and abide by Municipal, Provincial, and Federal laws and regulations pertaining to recreational cannabis

**Experience, Skills and Background (at a minimum)**
- Must be at least 19 years of age
- Passionate about cannabis with a keen interest in driving the industry forward
- Solid knowledge of the cannabis plant including strains, types and effects and willingness to learn
- Must be available to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- Positive and outgoing personality ensuring a high level of customer interaction, suggestive selling and enthusiasm
- Experience in handling cash and utilizing POS systems

**Experience, Skills and Background (desirable)**
- Social media management
- Inventory management including auditing
- Previous experience in retail cannabis
- Full drivers' license
- Billingual

**Requirements**:

- CannSell
- Police background check

**Compensation**
- $18.50 plus benefits

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

**Salary**: From $18.50 per hour

**Experience**:

- Customer Service: 3 years (preferred)
- Cannabis Retail: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- CannSell certification (required)
