Are you passionate about winter sports and looking for an exciting leadership role? Loch Lomond Ski Area is seeking a dedicated and experienced **Ski Lifts Supervisor** to oversee the operation of our ski lifts for the 2024 winter season. As part of our team, you will ensure the safety, efficiency, and smooth operation of all lifts while providing an exceptional experience for our guests.

The Ski Lifts Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the safe and efficient operation of all ski lifts at Loch Lomond Ski Area. The role includes supervising lift operators, maintaining lift equipment, and ensuring compliance with all safety protocols. The Ski Lifts Supervisor plays a key role in providing a smooth, enjoyable experience for guests, while maintaining high safety standards.

*Responsibilities*
- **Lift Operations Supervision**:

- Manage day-to-day operations of all ski lifts, ensuring they run smoothly and efficiently.
- Schedule and supervise lift operators, ensuring adequate staffing levels at all times.
- Train lift operators on operational procedures, customer service, and safety protocols.
- **Safety & Compliance**:

- Monitor compliance with all safety standards and regulations (both company and provincial).
- Perform daily inspections of lift equipment to ensure proper function and address any issues.
- Respond to any incidents or operational issues swiftly and effectively.
- **Maintenance & Reporting**:

- Coordinate with the maintenance team for any necessary repairs or servicing of the lifts.
- Document daily operations and any incidents or maintenance issues for record-keeping and reporting to management.
- **Customer Service**:

- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to guest inquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner.
- Ensure a positive experience for all visitors by maintaining an organized and professional atmosphere around lift areas.
- **Leadership & Team Building**:

- Foster a positive work environment, motivate the team, and ensure effective communication.
- Monitor staff performance and provide feedback and guidance where necessary.

**Qualifications & Requirements**:

- Previous experience in ski lift operations or similar supervisory role is preferred.
- Strong understanding of ski lift equipment, safety regulations, and maintenance procedures.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- First Aid certification is an asset.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and evenings as required.

**Work Environment**:

- This position involves working outdoors in winter conditions for extended periods.
- Physical demands include standing, lifting, and handling lift equipment as necessary.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 5 months
