We are looking for a **Hotel Bartender** with an outgoing, service-oriented personality to join our team.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

- To be on the floor, uniformed and informed of daily events, ready to start scheduled shift
- Ensure that only a quality product is being served
- Carry out food & beverage service as per standards
- Have a complete knowledge of the wine list, menu, and other sales items
- Provide professional and efficient food & beverage service
- Process guest checks in a timely and efficient manner
- Maintain glassware clean and polished
- Ensure cleanliness of bar and area
- Conduct daily inventory reporting and other administrative skills as required
- Maintain a safe and sanitary work environment
- Suggestively upsell menu items on a continual basis
- Take orders accurately and ring in MICROS P.O.S. to standard
- Provide consistent table/bar maintenance throughout the course of service
- Provide all guests with an accurate bill - check it twice
- Provide prompt and accurate change for cash/ room charge, credit or debit card processing.
- Promote special occasions and perform accurate and timely cash out
- Must follow brand guidelines.
- Other duties as may be assigned

Job Requirements:

- Must have a minimum of 1-2 year bartending experience, in a hotel setting. Marriott Experience an asset.
- Must have completed the new smart serve.
- Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Must portray a friendly, warm and welcoming demeanor at all times
- Must have the ability to speak English clearly, distinctly and cordially with guests and employees
- Successful completion of a bartending/mixology course is an asset
- Must have good knowledge of food & beverage products including cocktails, beer, wine and other bar products

**Salary**: From $17.39 per hour
