**Primary Responsibilities**

In the role of Traction Power Co-op, we'll count on you to:

- Participate in design work and design reviews to familiarize with traction power work, reference to standards and specifications
- Conduct electrical power PC-based simulation studies and development of electrification single line drawing (SLD) designs as assigned by supervisor.
- Conduct field work sessions at the project site in conjunction with other traction power engineers and other engineering disciplines
- Coordinate with and assist other engineering disciplines, as required
- Project work will include, but is not limited to TTC Subway Capacity Enhancement Program, Brampton LRT, Ontario Line, TransLink etc.
- Perform other duties as directed by the Traction Power Engineering Manager

**Qualifications**

**Required Qualifications**
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate engineering program (preferably electrical engineering)
- Have a fundamental understanding of electrical circuits and terms (e.g. Kirchhoff’s law, Thevenin vs. Norton Equivalent Circuits)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools
- An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture
