**Job Title**

Associate, Treasury Services Business Management

**Position Purpose**:
The Business Manager supports Treasury Services with the implementation of strategies aligned to RBCCM’s operating philosophy while driving effectiveness.
- Working with the Global Markets Business Management teams to support the Treasury Services (“TS”) businesses globally to ensure regulatory readiness; and implement adequate risk management, governance and control environment frameworks.
- Work in close coordination with functional partners and Business Heads on tactical and strategic projects.
- Design, implement and maintain development solutions owned by the Business.
- Proactively develop a thorough understanding of TS business model and associated risks.
- Meeting and presentation preparation and management including implementation and maintenance of management information data sets.
- Liaise with Compliance to monitor regulatory change impacting the TS desks in North America and participate in implementing tools to meet those requirements.
- Drive the process of designing and assessing appropriate controls and internal governance related to: front office activities; operational risk items; compliance programs; etc.
- Project work will include having an active role in preparing and designing presentations for senior management, creating effective tracking mechanisms for on-going tasks/initiatives to enable business prioritization, delivering processes to provide regular feedback to stakeholders and high level of engagement with larger strategic projects.
- Proactively identify operational risks/ control deficiencies in the business.
- Coordinate meetings and committees following governance guidelines, including preparation of agenda, materials and minutes.

**EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE**:
**Required**:

- 1-3 years experience in financial services
- Understanding of Risk Management (i.e. market risk, credit risk, liquidity risk, operational risk)
- Ability to identify, manage and implement lasting change

**Preferred**:

- Experience in all/most facets of project lifecycle; strong comprehension of project management discipline
- Experience in identifying and assessing key business processes
- Bachelor’s degree in business or finance topics; specialization in Engineering, Math or Computer Sciences is preferable

- Extremely resilient and able to withstand a substantial pressure load
- Confident in taking responsibility, making recommendations and solving problems in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
- Excellent interpersonal and written and oral communication skills are necessary

**Technical**:

- Strong level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly VBA tools
- Understanding in Java and Python (preferred)
