**What is this about?**

SmartD Technologies is disrupting the century-old industry of electrical motor control with the introduction of its Silicon Carbide-based variable frequency drive (VFD). The SmartD Clean Power VFD brings increased efficiency, extended motor lifetime and simplified engineering to this market.

As we increase our market presence and ramp-up production we’re looking for a talented individual to help us assemble and test our products as well as assist in the ongoing refinement of the assembly process.

**You should be an expert in**:

- Handling printed circuit boards (PCBs) and assembling them into a finished product;
- Testing products prior to shipment;
- Verbal and written communication in English and French;
- And if you are familiar with manufacturing process design and optimization, so much the better;
**And this is what we’d expect of you**:

- Assemble PCBs and mechanical components into a finished VFD;
- Test the assembled product prior to customer delivery;
- Diagnose the root cause of in-process failures and implement corrective action as required;
- Collaborate with the rest of the production team to develop and optimize the assembly process;
- Assist in the development and deployment of automated test fixtures;

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $40,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
