Your Responsibilities

  • Capture electrical diagrams using specialized software;
  • Make the design (layout) of printed circuit boards using specialized software;
  • Program microcontrollers in C language;
  • Write technical documentation;
  • Carry out tests and the assembly of prototypes;
  • Provide sporadic technical support to the Design and Production teams on standard and custom products.

Education + Experience Required

  • College diploma (DEC) in computer systems technology or electronics technology, combined with three to five years of experience; OR
  • Any other university or college training deemed equivalent will be considered.

Qualifications + Skills Required

  • Know and effectively use the C language;
  • Read electrical and electronic diagrams with ease;
  • Know how to use laboratory equipment (os cilloscope, multimeter, SMT and TH soldering);
  • Be familiar with the Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint);
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills in French (spoken and written), communicate in English functionally;
  • Have strong teamwork skills;
  • Wanting to grow and learn; be curious by nature;
  • Demonstrate autonomy;
  • Have excellent customer service skills;
  • Knowledge of DMX512, UART, Bluetooth, Ethernet, and other protocols (asset).
