**Want to swap the snow for sun this winter? **Productive Playhouse is seeking native French Canadian (Quebecois) speakers_ **with US work authorization **_to join our transcription team Transcribers are eligible for relocation assistance to work in one of our facilities in the following destinations:

- Burbank, California
- Hilliard, Ohio
- Orlando, Florida

**PLEASE NOTE**:_**THIS IS NOT A REMOTE JOB.**_ **TRANSCRIBERS WILL BE WORKING IN AN ON-SITE OFFICE ENVIRONMENT.**

**Relocation assistance**:Productive Playhouse provides temporary relocation assistance for full-time French Canadian (Quebecois) transcribers willing to relocate for 4-12 weeks to one of the following offices: Orlando, FL, Burbank, CA, Hilliard, Ohio. Transcribers may choose the length of their weekly assignment and office location. **What is covered**:Travel, lodging, daily meal stipend. Weekly hours required to qualify: 32 hours minimum per week.

**Pay**: USD $20.00-28.00 per hour

**What You Will Do**

French Canadian Transcribers will work in the office listening to audio recordings in French Canadian via headphones and transcribe (type) what is being said using proper French Canadian spelling and grammar. Elements transcribed include speech (sometimes frequently overlapping), background noises, and music. _No translation is required in this position._

**Requirements**:

- **US work authorization **(the company cannot provide sponsorship)
- 18+ years of age
- Fluent in French Canadian (Quebecois)
- High School Diploma / GED or equivalent
- 50 WPM typing speed preferred
- Strong language skills, both written and verbal, with a keen eye for punctuation, grammar, and spelling
- Ability to learn and adapt to our client’s style guide and written domain conventions
- Strong research skills for accurate spelling of names, locations, and products
- Ability to commit to 20-40 hours per week
- Able to wear masks as we navigate the ever-changing nature of COVID

**Please note**: Due to our client’s strict data security policies, applicants should be aware that personal items, including electronics such as phones and other electronic devices, will not be allowed in the workspace. Any personal items will need to be stored in provided lockers outside of the actual working environment. Employees are able to leave the workspace to use their phones outside the office if needed.
