**Title**:Bike Share (EBike) Night Shift Balancer

**Reports to**: Operations Manager
**Compensation**: $21.25/hr + 4% in lieu of paid vacation

**Seeking**:Permanent Part-time and Full-time applicants

**The Role**

As our system and team grows, we are seeking more help after the afternoon rush to redistribute shared bikes and ebikes so that our system is ready for our riders the next morning. This role is ideal for night-owls with shifts starting in the evening and ending late at night. A focus of this role is moving ebikes with depleted batteries to e-charging stations, redistributing charged ebikes, and picking up bikes in need of maintenance. This role is primarily field-based, using a van or an etrike with a trailer to pick up and drop off bikes.

- Ability to work until 2:30am including weekend availability
- An ability to load, lift, and roll bicycles and equipment (~50 pounds)
- Excellent driving skills and a valid Class 5 BC or Class 7 (“N”) Drivers License in good standing OR a willingness to operate an electric-assist cargo trike with trailer
- Good communication skills in-person and online
- Ability to work independently and drive at night
- Confidence an aptitude using web-based apps
- A willingness to work outdoors in all types of weather
- An organized, collaborative, and detail-oriented mindset

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 16-24 per week

**Salary**: From $21.25 per hour

Day range:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Shift:

- 4 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Evening shift
- Night shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Vancouver, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Driving: 1 year (preferred)

Shift availability:

- Night Shift (required)

Work Location: One location
