**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Providing day-to-day management and leadership of Prepared Meals
- Overseeing kitchen staffing levels (scheduling) to meet service, operational, and finance objectives; working collaboratively with Human Resources staff to recruit, interview, select, and hire an appropriate number of employees
- Training, coaching, mentoring, motivating, developing and evaluating staff - providing continuous feedback and addressing performance concerns or issues
- Ensuring compliance and enforcement of health and safety and food safety legislation and guidelines
- Providing timely and accurate production of Fresh Prepared Meals
- Developing, preparing, and maintaining accurate cost worksheets
- In association with the Product Development Team - performing regular reformulation of products for improvement, enhancement and/or cost reduction
- Working with the FSQA Manager in the development of recipes, formulas, procedures, step-by-step assembly instructions and CCP requirements
- Collaborating with the procurement team for purchasing, receiving, and inventory control of raw material for Prepared Meals
- Providing hands-on leadership of and participation in preparing and assembly of products
- Monitoring opportunities and implement strategies to reduce waste and labor cost
- Ensuring all product is produced to the highest possible standard and shipped on time with 100% fulfillment
- Ensuring facility is maintained to the highest Company standards
- Attending mangers meeting as required
- Performing other duties as assigned.

**Experience**
- Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
- Minimum of **5 years of culinary experience**.
- **Red Seal** certification required.
- Strong leadership skills with at least **5 years** of experience in team **management** and supervision.
- In-depth knowledge of food preparation techniques, food handling, and safety regulations.
- Experience working in **high-volume** kitchens with the abilitity to perform effectively under pressure

**Working Conditions/Physical Requirements**
- Able to lift, push, and pull up to 30 kgs.
- Able to work in a temperature-controlled environment (2 to 6 degrees Celsius)
- Able to work long periods of while standing, bending, reaching, stooping

Pay: $75,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
