Warehouse Shipper/receiver

**Job description**

**GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES**:
This position is responsible for picking, packing, shipping, receiving, recording, and controlling the movement of parts, supplies, and materials to and from the warehouse. This person will maintain an organized warehouse and work in collaboration with other members of the parts department to properly and efficiently serve our customers.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Participate in all aspects of the shipping/receiving/inventory functions, accountable for accurate daily completion of all receiving, shipping, inventory control and administrative requirements
- Operate all material handling equipment while adhering to all Summit Truck Equipment safety regulations and loading and unloading procedures to ensure products are safely secured
- Work with relevant parties on issues of damaged, shortages or non-conformance product
- Maintaining accurate inventory through cycle counting
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse
- Determine shipping methods for materials
- Perform any other tasks as required by supervisor

**Requirements**:

- A valid driver’s license and clean driver abstract
- 1 - 2 years of related experience or equivalent
- Capable of physical labor with ability to lift up-to 50lbs frequently
- Operate a forklift and pallet jack in a safe manner (certification training provided)
- Good communication skills both verbal and written
- Organized with strong attention to detail, prioritization skills, time management and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Communicate with fellow staff, customers & couriers in a polite and professional manner
- Highly motivated, self-directed and customer service oriented

**Salary**: $25.00-$27.00 per hour
