The Corporate Affairs Production Specialist is a dynamic role within Fidelity Canada’s Corporate Affairs Team, whose mandate is to protect and promote Fidelity’s reputation through research-driven, world-class communications to internal and external audiences.

This diverse and inclusive Team consists of professionals with experience in public affairs, journalism, market research, social media, capital markets and more. The environment is fast-paced similar to a newsroom where the Team members are agile and produce timely, effective content for various audiences.

What You Will Do

We are looking for a self-starter with strong communication skills and excellent project management capability to join our growing team as a Corporate Affairs Production Specialist. This individual will be responsible for providing critical planning and project management support across the Corporate Affairs (CA) team’s key functional areas, including Digital Media, Research and Employee and Community Affairs. Working closely with the CA management team, the Corporate Affairs Production Specialist will help to prioritize, resource and execute critical initiatives as well as shorter-term tactical opportunities, collaborating with partners across Fidelity to achieve the team’s and Fidelity’s goals.

The Value You Deliver
- Project Management: Manage day-to-day Corporate Affairs team activities ensuring deliverables are met, risks are identified and assessed, and issues are resolved. Lead project planning activities and provide regular updates to the management team on key projects’ progress.
- Research and Digital Media Planning: Develop detailed project calendars supporting Corporate Affairs’ Research and Digital Media functions including scheduling and budget estimates, while providing regular team updates on the progress of initiatives.
- Content and Campaign Development: Work closely with teams across Corporate Affairs and beyond to support the development of new content to help promote Fidelity across retail and institutional client channels. Support the execution of integrated digital campaigns (webcast, podcast, social media, etc.) to promote Fidelity’s brand, products and services.
- Vendor Relationship Administration and Support: Provide ongoing support for key vendors, industry partners and internal Fidelity business units. Act as the central point of contact to manage vendor-related tasks, including preparation of RFPs, and evaluating proposals and statements of work.

What We’re Looking For
- Completion of a University degree
- Minimum 3 years of related experience in a coordination role, preferably in the financial services industry
- Completion of or working towards the PMP designation is considered an asset
