As we lean into our next phase, we are looking to add an experienced Customer Success Manager to our rapidly growing team.
**The Role**
Our Customer Success team provides the foundation for our ongoing relationships with our customers, partnering with our service delivery teams to ensure that each customer gets exceptional value from their investment in security.
As Customer Success Manager, you will guide our customers through their Kobalt.io journey, developing a deep understanding of their business and objectives and aligning service outcomes to their goals. Championing the voice of the customer across the organization, you will influence the continued development of our service line to ensure it meets their needs. You’ll have the opportunity to collaborate with colleagues to enhance the customer experience and develop new processes that improve operational efficiency.

**Responsibilities**
What you’ll do as the Customer Success Manager at Kobalt.io:
- Serve as the point of contact for your customers and drive them to specific business outcomes on their timelines.
- Become a product expert on Kobalt.io and how our services can be used to improve the cyber security posture of our clients.
- Develop a trusted advisor relationship with your accounts, customer stakeholders, and executive sponsors that should lead to renewals, expansion, and advocacy.
- Influence Kobalt.io’s strategy and services priorities to drive adoption and retention by being the voice of the customer.
- Work cross-functionally to resolve customer business issues and work toward mutual goals.
**Qualifications**
How to be successful in this role:
- Have 2+ years of experience in Customer Success/Account Management experience.
- Possess clear and thoughtful communication skills, with strong critical thinking abilities.
- Be highly empathetic to customers, with a proven track record of long-term customer retention.
- Possess the technical competency to understand Kobalt.io’s services and how they relate to customer needs.
- Have stellar problem-solving skills, and an enthusiasm for making a large impact early on at a start-up.
- Have entrepreneurial spirit, initiative and autonomy so you can make a huge contribution to Kobalt.io.
- Ability to work in a 100% remote environment.
Nice to haves:
- Cyber Security and/or Compliance industry experience.
- Managed Services / Professional Services experience.
- Familiarity with Hubspot, especially Service Hub.

The base salary range for this role is between CAD $75,000 - $90,000 per year, plus performance incentive, equity and benefits.
