Retail and Production Team Member

**Job responsibilities for our Retail and Production Team Member include, but are not limited to**:

- Assist with distillery production work, including but not limited to bottling, labelling, palletizing
- Coordinate and operate the retail and tasting area
- Perform tastings and assist with customer purchases
- Operate POS (on site) and offsite POS/credit card terminal when needed/ required
- Balance and close off day, with sales reports and inventories
- Maintain overall retail / tasting area cleanliness and organization
- Comply with all health and safety regulations
- Represent the distillery at outside events and markets - if required
- Maintain professional visibility both inside and outside of the distillery (clearing entrances of any snow or debris, cleaning windows, etc)
- Occasional outdoor yard work and maintenance
- NSLC Tastings -travelling to local NSLC locations to do tastings - if required
- Markets / Tradeshows - if required
- Assist in fulfilling incoming orders from our online store as well as orders for local deliveries and licensees

**Applicant qualifications include**:

- _Must be 19 years of age or older_*
- **MUST BE LOCATED IN NOVA SCOTIA**:

- Basic Food Safety, First Aid/CPR, and Serve Right certification are an asset
- Previous beverage / tourism industry experience a huge asset
- Knowledge of spirits, liqueurs and alcohol is an asset
- Required to work weekends. A flexible schedule that may include 6 days a week during peak seasons. Evenings are sometimes required.

Hours: 35 - 40

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Seasonal
