**Department Overview**

The Lead officer is responsible for managing of ~2,400 accounts across various books of record systems, reconciliation support (quality review, monthly certification) and system administration for TLM. Audit support and supporting various TDAM activities (cash sweep TD/CIBC Mellon, CIBC custody account opening for fund launches, custody account administration and MF Trust administration support).
Provide a range of analytical/process support, research on digital technologies to automate processes and assist with special initiatives within Reconciliations and reporting.
Leader with a keen sense of finding the root cause of problems by sifting through data and metrics as well as strong people skills to lead change within diverse teams and skillsets. You are driven to succeed in a dynamic and changing Wealth Management environment to drive competitive advantage within the operations functions at TD Wealth. Reports to a Team Manager/Group Manager

**Job Details**
- Analyze current state reconciliation controls process and perform root cause analysis for any breaks and gaps in process.
- Assist in driving change and solutions for all identified root causes.-
- Liaise and drive change between multiple stakeholders (Technology, Business Architecture, Operations, Wealth Business lines) to get end resolution
- Recommend and summarize improvements to executives and senior leadership
- Process various transactions accurately, on time and in line with established guidelines/procedures while adhering to formal or informal Service Level Agreement(s) (SLAs) and escalate processing or operational issues where necessary to ensure an elevated level of service maintained
- Business Analysis:

- Support the team by providing analytics and insights to recommend actions that will enable optimal business decisions and/or resolves complex business problems. Identify opportunities to drive business growth & value.
- Design/develop dashboards and scorecards to support business needs; ensure alignment of metrics across the organization
- Requires advanced knowledge of business unit and operational functions for business area supported and regulatory issues/requirements for jurisdictions supported
- Identify continuous opportunities to improve service delivery and support process improvement initiatives
- Maintain and support working relationships with customers, partners and vendors including responding to questions and/or concerns in an effective and timely manner

- Be knowledgeable of practices and procedures within own area of responsibility and keep abreast of emerging trends for own functional area and cross-functional teams
- Conduct reporting and/or meaningful analysis at the functional or enterprise level using results to draw conclusions, make recommendations, assess the effectiveness of programs / policies / practices
- Adhere to internal policies/procedures and applicable regulatory guidelines
- Keep abreast of emerging issues, trends, and evolving regulatory requirements and assess potential impacts
- Maintain a culture of risk management and control, supported by effective processes in alignment with risk appetite
- Take part fully as a member of the team, support a positive work environment that promotes service to the business, quality, innovation, and teamwork and ensure timely communication of issues / points of interest
- Support the team by continuously enhancing knowledge / expertise in own area and participate in knowledge transfer within the team and business unit
- Keep current on emerging trends / developments and grow knowledge of the business, related tools, and techniques
- Take part in personal performance management and development activities, including cross training within own and other team(s)

**Job Requirements**
- Advanced working knowledge of VBA Macros, Alteryx workflows and Tableau needed
- A general understanding of market environment, the trade lifecycle and other upstream processes that affect settlement experience of 2+ years.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, ability to work with substantial amounts of data on excel to analyze, produce usable metrics, and trend summary.
- Ability to think conceptually (“out-of-the-box”) and exercise good business judgement and critical thinking skills.
- Proficient oral and written communications skills.
- Ability to manage tight deadlines, multiple tasks, and adapt well to changing priorities and meet SLA.
