**What You Will Do**:
The QA Analyst will report to the Principal Technical Architect, responsible for supporting the Global R&D department.
This role will include liaising with internal and external stakeholders and how they work together.
**A crucial part of the role is to**:
Be an active member of a SCRUM team, following agile practices.
Understand business requirements.
Write detailed test plans/test scripts based on acceptance criteria from User Stories written by the Product Owner.
**Additionally, this person will be responsible for**:
Manual functional testing of the team deliverables (Insprint and regression) following internal testing standards and quality & release plan.
Discovering, reporting and tracking bugs using VSTS.
Knowledge shared with the team to promote agreed quality standards.
Liaising with other QAs to ensure the quality and release process is followed according to the quality & release plan.
Promoting quality as a key focus.
The role requires an individual that has the ability to work to tight deadlines. The role holder will have strong written and verbal skills, and be able to work well in a team environment.

**Experience/Knowledge You Will Need**:
Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a QA Analyst, ideally working within a SCRUM development environment.
Excellent, proven manual/functional testing skills, with an ability to demonstrate this during the interview process.
High level of attention to detail with a methodical, patient approach.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English).
Consistently drives for improvement.
Willing to go the extra mile to get the desired results in assuring the quality of software delivery
**Additional Desirable Skills/Experience**:
Knowledge of Agile as a software development methodology
Experience working with VSTS/JIRA or similar tools
SQL knowledge
ISEB Foundation certificate or another relevant certificate
Knowledge/experience of some other type of testing apart from manual testing:
Automation testing
Performance testing
Scalability testing
Security testing
