Kraken Sense is a leading biotechnology company dedicated to revolutionizing healthcare through innovative solutions. We have developed an automated pathogen sensing platform, utilizing a cloud-based AI platform and microfluidics-based chip system. We are expanding our team and looking for an experienced Marketing Lead to join our Business Development department. Our cutting-edge technologies and scientific expertise drive advancements in diagnostics, public health, food & beverage, with a focus on improving time to result to enable informed decision-making. The role will be based in our Oakville office.

Kraken Sense is seeking a dynamic and creative Marketing Lead to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive public relations and marketing strategies to promote Kraken Sense's products, services, and brand within the biotech industry and beyond.

As the Marketing Lead, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic marketing initiatives to drive brand awareness, lead generation, and customer acquisition. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to create and execute marketing campaigns, manage digital and traditional marketing channels, and analyze results to optimize performance.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop and execute strategic marketing plans to achieve company objectives.
- Lead a growing Marketing team.
- Assist in brand development initiatives by creating compelling marketing materials, including scientific figures, visuals, and presentations.
- Manage marketing campaigns from concept to execution, tracking key metrics and ROI.
- Collaborate with sales and product teams to align marketing strategies with business goals.
- Stay on top of industry trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and challenges.
- Collaborate with content creators, designers, and developers to ensure SEO best practices are integrated into all digital assets and marketing materials.
- Generate regular reports on SEO performance metrics, including traffic, rankings, and conversions, and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in biology, biochemistry, biotechnology, or related field
- 1+ years of experience in marketing, preferably in the biotech or life sciences industry.
- Proven track record of success in developing and implementing marketing strategies.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data to drive decision-making.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a creative mindset
- Experience with digital marketing, SEO and paid marketing preferred
