**Ai Insurance Organization, a leader in insurance and surety solutions, is seeking a Director of Surety to spearhead our surety department. This pivotal role involves strategic oversight and management of all surety bond products and services, ensuring the growth and profitability of this sector.

**Responsibilities**:

- ** Strategic Leadership**: Develop and implement strategies that enhance and expand our surety offerings across various markets.
- ** Team Management**: Lead and mentor a team of underwriters and surety professionals, fostering an environment of collaboration and high performance.
- ** Business Development**: Cultivate relationships with key clients and stakeholders to secure major accounts and partnerships.
- ** Risk Management**: Oversee risk assessment procedures and underwriting guidelines to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
- ** Market Analysis**: Continuously analyze market trends and competitor activities to adapt strategies and maintain competitive advantage.
- ** Financial Oversight**: Manage the financial performance of the surety line, including profitability, revenue growth, and expense management.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Law, or a related field.
- ACSB or equivalent certifications.
- Ability to understand and implement new surety specific software to allow our team to grow exponentially.
- RIBO licensed, in good standing with required continuing education (CE) hours.
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience in surety underwriting or a similar leadership role within the surety industry.
- Proven track record of developing and growing surety business lines.
- Strong analytical skills and expertise in risk evaluation.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of fostering strong client and team relationships.
- Deep understanding of Canadian and international surety markets.
