Ground Truth Ag is an exciting, young, agtech company building products that generate realizable value using real-time grain quality data. We are adding to our multi-disciplinary team of scientists, engineers, and agriculture experts to continue building out our solutions. If you’re a talented individual that can communicate with people outside your discipline and love problem solving, we want you on our team.
We’re looking for a full-time General Assembler to do final assembly of our hardware devices for commercialization. This position requires some knowledge of the concepts used for assembly lines and general assembly of parts. Training will be provided but experience is an asset.
This position could be for you if you have some experience with following instructions, assembling parts and components, are comfortable with repetitive processes, have a high attention to detail and take pride in everything that you do.
Minimum qualifications
Be able to carry and move heavy equipment of up to 50 lbs.
Understand basic computer software ie: Excel, Word etc.
Familiar with hand tools, and fasteners.
Knowledge of assembly lines, and some experience with the usage and or creation of Standard Operating Procedures.
You’ll be working on things like
Assembling of our custom designed hardware.
Organizing, counting and reporting of inventory.
Working with the development team to test some of the hardware functionality and record the results.
Shipping and receiving of parts and finished goods.
General shop cleaning and maintenance.
**Work conditions**
This position pays $18/hour to start and includes health and dental benefits. Office hours are Monday - Friday from 8:00am - 4:30pm with flexible time available to accommodate your schedule and the opportunity for overtime hours when required by the team.
