Eddie’s Gravel Supply Ltd. is a residential and commercial construction company located in Winnipeg Beach, Manitoba. We are currently looking for experienced Heavy Equipment Operators

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Must have experience operating Dozers, Graders, Loaders, Excavators and Skid Steers.
- Must be able to complete tasks on sites with mínimal to no supervision.
- Read and understand drawings
- Manage crews to ensure work is done in a timely manner when required
- Variety of manual labour tasks
- Occasional camp work required.
- Other related duties a required.
- Loading and unloading construction materials, and moving them to work areas
- Spreading materials
- Securing heavy equipment attachments to equipment
- Help other equipment operators and other skilled labor when necessary.
- Load or unload construction materials and moving them to work areas
- Put together and take apart temporary structures, such as scaffolding.
- Ready to learn from on-the-job training when necessary.
- Class 1 or Class 3 an asset
- Perform site clean-up as needed
- Service equipment as needed.
- Mechanically inclined.
- Responsible for supporting site activities in the delivery of multiple projects

**To Be Successful, You Will Need**
- Own transportation;
- Valid driver’s license (class 5)
- Operator experience required
- Knowledge of the construction industry an asset
- Some road building construction experience preferred
- Ability to work as a part of a team and independently
- Reliable
- Strong work ethic
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment with tight deadlines
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
- Overtime work as required
- Able to perform repetitive tasks
- Able to perform physically demanding tasks. Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.

Salary based on experience $24.00 - $32.00
