**Israel Foulon Wong LLP** is currently seeking an experienced Legal Assistant to join our firm. We are an established employment and labour boutique firm with a reputation for excellence. We offer a congenial work environment, competitive salary and benefits commensurate with experience. This position is hybrid, requiring 3 days in office and 2 days remote.

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to**:

- Drafting, proof-reading and sending correspondence and court documents;
- Serving and filing court documents with various administrative Tribunals and Courts (OLRB, Superior Court, Small Claims, HRTO);
- Corresponding with other parties and clients in a timely and professional manner;
- Maintaining schedules and booking phone/Zoom appointments;
- Diarization of important dates, deadlines and appearances, and maintaining a bring forward system to ensure dates are adhered to;
- Occasional opening and closing of files; and,
- Filing (electronically and physical files).

**REQUIREMENTS**
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a law office, preferably in civil litigation;
- Completion of a College Diploma in the legal field (exp. Law Clerk’s Diploma or ILCO designation);
- Ability to work independently, follow instructions with mínimal supervision and take initiative as required;
- Excellent organizational skills;
- Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, grammar, spelling and proofreading skills;
- Highly dependable and able to meet multiple deadlines while working independently;
- Experience with PCLaw would be an asset.
