Responsibilities:

- Oversee daily operations of the front of house area, including managing staff and ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow
- Train and supervise front of house staff, including servers, hosts/hostesses, and bartenders
- Ensure excellent customer service by greeting and assisting guests, resolving any issues or complaints, and maintaining a positive and welcoming atmosphere
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements to optimize table turnover and maximize customer satisfaction
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate food preparation and delivery
- Monitor inventory levels of supplies, such as menus, condiments, and utensils, and place orders as needed
- Handle cash handling responsibilities, including opening/closing registers, reconciling cash drawers, and preparing daily deposits
- Enforce health and safety regulations to maintain a clean and sanitary dining environment
- Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement strategies to improve overall restaurant performance

**Skills**:

- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and restaurant operations
- Proficiency in using point-of-sale (POS) systems for order processing and payment handling
- Exceptional hospitality skills with the ability to provide excellent customer service
- Experience in bartending or beverage service is a plus
- Familiarity with food service regulations and best practices for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards
- Proven leadership abilities with the capability to effectively manage a team
- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers, staff, and management
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
- Strong organizational skills to manage reservations, seating arrangements, and inventory levels

**Salary**: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 30 per week

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- On call
- Weekends as needed

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Hospitality: 2 years (preferred)
- Supervising: 3 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Smart Serve (preferred)
