- implementation of province-wide technology initiatives, systems, software and data solutions, _

As a Member of the Management Team, your overall responsibilities will be to:
c) Be accountable for the database warehouse including the integrity of data and associated documentation and reporting.

This will include:
**1.0 Systems** **Development**

Manage the integration of AS400 with the new Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solutions development.

Manage and prioritize system development / programming projects and programs.

Manage all aspects of project delivery including defining project scope, specifying deliverables, estimating project duration, effort and cost, managing project budget, creating detailed project plans and managing change requests, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget constraints.

Manage relationships with third party vendors: research, evaluate, negotiate options, and make recommendations for software and other technology related to development support environment; source and negotiate with vendors to manage costs and facilitate system up-grades.

Foster and maintain good relationships with internal customers to ensure system development processes are integrated to support expected customer service levels; partner with others for the purpose of design and development, network optimization and configuration, cost allocation and management of services.

**2.0** **Systems Delivery***

Develop and implement procedures and processes to ensure the organization’s technological capacity meets current and future requirements.

Act as the primary contact for internal and external customers for service/systems delivery issues; analyze and assess needs/requirements and deliver recommendations and solutions accordingly.

Directly participate in the development, testing, installation and modification of software systems

Maintain, enhance, or improve existing software programs to accommodate changing needs, correct programs, or to advance technology-based solutions.

**3.0** **Corporate and Team Leadership***

Lead and support a positive organizational culture focused on building productive, motivated employee teams in a highly competitive environment.

Develop, recommend and implement goals and objectives and capital and operating budgets for the department.

Provide leadership and direction to department staff to ensure systems and policies are adhered to, and corporate objectives, as they relate to the department, are met. Manage performance, coach and provide support, assistance and feedback.

Collaborate with Human Resources to recruit, develop and retain a competent, diverse team.

**Education**:
Degree in Computer Science or similar field of study. An equiv combination of education and experience may be considered.

**Experience**

5+ years of progressive experience in a related position. Experience in RPG and AS400 programming environments is an asset, as well as experience in the telecommunications industry.

Computer literacy skills including, but not limited to: programming languages, database creation and network systems.

**Desired Attributes**:

Skilled in policy, process and procedural documentation to ensure the integrity of the systems environment.

Demonstrated project management and coordination skills with a proven ability to handle multiple tasks.
