Kardium has a fantastic technical team that has developed a product with strong, unique, and customer-valued differentiators versus other solutions on the market: The Globe® Pulsed Field System. We have built connections with key opinion leaders who are already using the Globe System and are helping to tell our story.

As an integral part of the Facilities team, the Janitorial Specialist is responsible for keeping our spaces clean and tidy, as well as maintaining our cleanrooms to the required cleanliness standard. This helps keep our manufacturing running, and also provides a clean and fresh space to work to our employees.

Please note this opportunity will be onsite in Burnaby, BC with a shift schedule of Monday to Friday from 2:00PM - 10:30 PM. There are multiple positions available.

**What you'll be doing**

Your responsibilities will include:

- Specialized cleaning of our cleanrooms according to established procedures and instructions.
- Cleaning washrooms, change rooms, general offices, meeting rooms, workstations, labs, warehouse areas, etc.
- Tidying and cleaning kitchens and lunchrooms: tables, chairs, sinks, counters, microwaves, fridges, beverage machines, etc.
- Disposing of waste and recycling.
- Vacuuming and mopping floors; dusting.
- Specialized cleaning of our machine shop.
- Laundering cleanroom shirts.
- Ordering and stocking janitorial supplies.

You are suited to our approach and possess these attributes:

- Experience in performing various cleaning and housekeeping activities in a highly regulated manufacturing environment or healthcare setting is desired.
- Experience in using floor maintenance machines, cleaning equipment, materials, and solutions.
- Good communication skills, both oral and written.
- Dependable, flexible, and has a positive, "can-do" attitude.
- Attention to detail and visual acuity to ensure cleaning is performed to required standards.
- Able to physically perform janitorial duties.

**Compensation**

As a permanent employee, you will also participate in Kardium's stock option plan.
- $20.00 - $25.00/hour
