**GymZone Gymnastics is seeking an individual that will successfully **develop and implement a comprehensive internal training and ongoing peer mentorship program to train, educate, re-engage, reconnect and bolster the overall knowledge, confidence and wellbeing of our team of gymnastics coaches.
- Research other industries, clubs and gymnastics resources to source best practices to integrate innovative, experiential and practical learning/training into the program
- Consult with the senior team members, and industry leaders to include their expertise in the program for younger staff
- Work with the Club Director to compile all resources and create role specific master training/onboarding documents/checklists to effectively train various positions ie: Coaches, Supervisors, Camp Coach, Party Supervisor, Camp Supervisor etc
- Create and implement a mentorship program to further support all team members in their role to help maintain a healthy, happy and safe work environment for all
- Facilitate bi-weekly in person meetings with all new roles; consisting of hands-on, one on one mentoring with them in the gym and to raise their level of gymnastics expertise as it related to each position
- Facilitate bi-weekly team lead meetings focused more on personal growth, mental performance and development for those in leadership roles
- Develop and create Personal Development Plans for all staff members so their training plan, and growth journey can be easily documented and evaluated with a clear long term path in mind for their employment
- Record all sessions, and compile a library so that we could easily reference, train and onboard new members more quickly and effectively
- Develop feedback form and ensure they are used after sessions with staff to collect feedback from all team members to help measure the success of the program (i.e. provides an opportunity for staff to showcase what they’ve learned and if there is anything the staff wish to learn at a future session).

**Qualifications**:

- Graduate of/background in Physical and Health Education, Fitness & Leisure Management, Health Promotion or Certified Teacher
- Min 2-3 years experience working various roles at a gymnastics club
- Passion and experience working with children, young adults and leading people
- Must have or be willing to obtain NCCP Full Foundations or Comp 1 Certification with Risk Management and Risk in Sport, Ethical Coaching
- Current Standard First Aid / CPR C from an accredited organization
- NCCP Comp 1 Trampoline, an asset
- High Five PHCD Certification an asset
- Submit or agree to a Vulnerable Sector Criminal Record Check
- Exceptional energy, customer service, communication skills and leadership experience

**Salary**: From $16.55 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Work Location: In person
