**Overview**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct on-site ESL/ELL classes adhering to the provided curriculum.
- Create and implement lesson plans for students in a classroom setting
- Provide instruction and support to students with special education needs
- Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet individual student needs
- Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies as necessary
- Collaborate with other teachers, parents, and support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, behavior, and academic performance
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field
- Certification in ESL/ELL teaching (e.g., TEFL, TESOL, CELTA) preferred.
- Proven experience in ESL/ELL instruction, preferably in an on-site educational setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively manage a classroom and engage students in learning
- Knowledge of instructional strategies and techniques for students with diverse learning needs
- Commitment to on-site teaching and contributing positively to the academic community.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Burnaby, BC V5H 4V7: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Education**:

- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)

**Experience**:
