**Braber Equipment**, a well-established manufacturer, distributer and wholesaler of agricultural equipment and parts, is seeking an experienced Buyer to join our team.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Purchase goods, materials, components, or services in line with specified cost, quality, and delivery targets
- Oversees inventory level and sets the open-to-buy plan
- Support the purchasing function and other relevant departments and communicate any supply problems which may impact on business operations
- Monitor and advise on any issues which present risk or opportunity to the organization
- Negotiate and improve prices and terms of business with suppliers and review opportunities to make business savings utilizing procurement best practice tools and methods
- Build, maintain and manage supplier relationships and prepare supplier performance report cards
- Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly purchasing reports to analyze performance and make improvements

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Familiar with ERP and MRP, preferable Syspro
- Microsoft Office skills: Outlook and Excel
- Keen attention to detail and accuracy and strong analytical skills
- Good communication, negotiation, interpersonal and influencing skills
- Works independently and with a team
- Able to build and maintain effective and productive relationships with staff, stakeholders, and suppliers

**Education and Experience requirements**:
Relevant business/commercial or manufacturing/engineering degree preferred, CPIM or CIPS or similar qualification would be beneficial

Minimum 5 years’ experience or working in purchasing team within a manufacturing environment
