General Procurement Manager
This position is responsible for the procurement objective activities such as contract management, process enforcement, and reporting for various business segments. Will be responsible for vendor sourcing, negotiating and contract management with the mandate of securing favorable pricing and terms. The individual will partner closely with the stakeholders to develop contractual strategies, ensuring expected savings are realized. To succeed in this role, the individual must skillfully partner with in-house legal counsel, technology, and business partners, leading all aspects of contract management.
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:
Contract Management (60%)
- Manage and conduct full sourcing process for various projects-Marketing, Facility Management,
SVC, Business service, etc;
- Conduct procurement process
- vendor sourcing, RFx, negotiation and contract;
- Negotiate with new and existing vendor contracts to secure advantageous terms and pricing;
- Identify cost savings opportunities across existing vendor contracts;
- Work closely with in-house legal counsel to support the analysis and review, of various commercial contracts (including amendments and renewals);
- Prepare and maintain accurate records and documentation on all solicitations, responses, purchases, contracts, correspondence;
Procurement strategy (20%)
- Improve and implement procurement system and process based on HQ’s guideline;
- Develop commodity strategy and standard templates of RFx;
- Analysis and validate budget and contract spend;
- Partner with business, legal, and technology teams to validate the accuracy and completeness of key contracts;
- Guide internal teams on best practices as it relates to contract and vendor management;
Reporting & Analysis (20%)
- Regular analysis purchasing spend, budget value creation and commodity data;
- Regular progress and completion report;
- Manage exceptional process cases;
- Support financial report;
- Interface with North America and overseas teams on global reporting requirements.
**QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & ABILITIES**:
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in procurement or supply chain management field;
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree education;
- Familiarity with procurement system, MS office, cloud;
- Possesses strong verbal and written communication skills;
- Fluency in spoken and written English;
- Bilingual in English and Korean is an asset;
- Experience in marketing related commodities is an asset;
- Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines.
