**JOB SUMMARY**:
The Horizontal Directional Driller reports to a Director of Operations to assist in the installation of electrical and underground utilities through the use and maintenance of a Horizontal Directional Drill.

**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Working **5 - 6 days a week, 8 - 10 hours a day.**:

- Maintenance and operation of the directional drill.
- Locating for the Directional Drill.
- Install shallow utilities cable.
- Digging and backfilling trenches.
- Operating small equipment and hand tools.
- Spotting for vehicles and equipment.
- Site setup and cleanup.
- Other duties as assigned.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Firm understanding of **underground locates**.
- **Mechanically inclined**.
- Class **3** driver’s license and own vehicle.
- Able to lift **75lbs**.
- Experience working with shallow utility installation is an asset.
- Outdoor construction experience.
- Willing to learn.
