**PURPOSE OF THE JOB**

A Replenishment Specialists responsibilities include ensuring the accuracy of inventory records (Shopify, Cova, spreadsheets, and future ERP systems), managing inventory items, controlling day-to-day inventory operations, and implementing inventory control protocols to maximize sales and manage an appropriate level of inventory in the stores. Replenishment specialists can expect to work closely with management and develop and improve existing procedures and policies. Successful Replenishment specialists should be able to interpret and implement sales data on consumer trends and spending, have excellent interpersonal communication skills, an intermediate level of Excel, and the ability to work both independently and in a team.

**PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Analyzing inventory reports and suggesting improvements for the Sales and distribution of retail inventory, including weekly store-to-store inventory movements
- Performing extensive research on a wide range of inventory-related reports
- Creating and maintaining inventory databases and systems for accurately managing inventory
- Developing and implementing solutions to improve inventory turnover
- Maintaining and improving the company's inventory situation by analyzing inventory statistics to determine which products are selling and which are not
- Allocating Cannabis and Accessories inventory to the correct stores and jurisdictions as it comes into the warehouse and arranging for transfers of inventory. Inventory requests fluctuate from week to week.
- Drafting inventory reports that document inventory counts, discrepancies, and other statistical data
- Reporting inventory statistics to management and suggesting improvements to inventory control
- Coordinating with other workers to resolve discrepancies between inventory and revenue
- Supporting internal, and external clients by providing current and future snapshots of inventory positions
- Other reports or projects as assigned

**KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED**
- 2-3 years prior experience & progressive responsibility in a junior inventory analyst role, or related retail experience
- High School diploma, Secondary education would be an asset
- Ability to gather, analyze and organize complex data, draw conclusions, and present such data effectively orally and in writing
- Strong computer skills in Microsoft, databases, and spreadsheets with proven proficient skills in Excel, including filters, pivot tables, V look-ups, and IF statements are considered an advantage
- Proven analytical background with high attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, outstanding organizational and time management skills
