**DESCRIPTION**
Le titulaire de ce poste est chargé d'acheter des matériaux, des fournitures, des services et des équipements au coût le plus bas possible afin de respecter les délais de livraison requis et de maintenir notre matériel à un niveau compétitif. Il doit également respecter les normes de qualité et de service acceptées, conformément aux politiques et procédures d'achat de l'entreprise. Il veille à acheter selon les exigences de la demande au prix le plus bas possible afin d'atteindre les objectifs de réduction des coûts totaux.
**RESPONSABILITÉS**
- Achète selon les exigences de la demande dans le respect des normes établies.
- Crée et traite tous ses bons de commande dans le système.
- Signe les commandes conformément à la délégation de pouvoir locale.
- Examine les demandes d'achat, analyse les spécifications, prépare les listes de soumissionnaires potentiels et obtient des propositions pour les produits assignés.
- Fournit les réponses nécessaires et attendues à l'ingénierie, aux ventes et au marketing, à la fabrication en ce qui concerne la disponibilité et le coût des matériaux requis et demandés.
- Utilise les techniques d'analyse des prix et des coûts pour s'assurer que l'entreprise obtient le meilleur rapport qualité-prix pour ses achats, conformément au budget.
- Interagit avec les clients internes et externes pour garantir la qualité, le prix et la livraison des produits.
- Prépare des plans détaillés de demande de devis et mène des négociations et des programmes de réduction des coûts efficaces.
- Soutient la mise en œuvre et la gestion des programmes de contrôle des stocks pour les matériaux essentiels.
- Soutient l'activité de gestion des fournisseurs, conformément à la politique d'approvisionnement et au manuel d'instructions de Howmet.
- Atteint les objectifs de réduction des coûts.
- Représente l'approvisionnement dans les équipes et les comités spéciaux qui s'occupent de l'approvisionnement et des questions connexes.
- Effectuer des tests ASAT : Mise à jour de la conformité des étoiles et tests ASAT.
- Effectue d'autres tâches selon les besoins.
- Respecte les valeurs et le code d'éthique de l'entreprise. Respecte les programmes de l'entreprise en matière d'environnement, de santé et de sécurité.

**JOB SUMMARY**
This position is responsible for purchasing materials, supplies, services, and equipment at the lowest possible cost to meet required delivery dates and keep our material at a competitive level. It also must be consistent with accepted standards of quality and service in accordance with Corporate Procurement Policies and Procedures.
Ensures to purchase as per requisition requirements at the lowest price possible to achieve total cost reduction goals.
**DUTIES/RESPONSABILITIES**
- Purchases as per requisition requirements within standards established.
- Creates and processes all their purchase orders in the system.
- Signs orders in accordance with Local delegation of authority.
- Review’s procurement requisitions, analyzes specifications, prepares prospective bidder’s lists, and obtains proposals on commodities assigned.
- Provides needed and expected answers to engineering, sales and marketing, manufacturing regarding availability and cost of required and inquired materials.
- Utilizes price and cost analysis techniques to assure that the corporation is receiving the best value for its procurement dollar in conformity with the budget.
- Interfaces with internal and external customers to ensure quality, price, and delivery of products.
- Prepares detailed request for quotation plans and conduct effective cost negotiation and reduction program.
- Supports implementation and management of Inventory Control programs for critical materials.
- Supports Supplier Management activity as outlined by Howmet Procurement Policy and Instructions manual.
- Achieves cost reduction goals.
- Represents Procurement on special teams and committees involving Procurement and related matters.
- Perform ASAT: Stars Compliance update and ASAT testing.
- Performs other duties as required.
- Respects the values and code of ethics of the company.
- Respects the Environment, Health & Safety programs of the company.
