**Location**:
This Full-Time position is based at **Home Furniture & Lighting **at 2463 Mountain Road, Moncton, New Brunswick.

Furniture Assembly, Warehouse & Delivery Associate

**Responsibilities**:

- Assembly of furniture.
- Delivery of purchased items to our customers.
- Delivery of appliances, furniture & lighting to customers and building material to construction sites.
- Loading and delivery of appliances, furniture, lighting and building material.
- Ensure inventory and delivery processes are followed as per policies.
- Maintain and promote safe practices.
- Manage customer relationships on site.
- Shipment receiving, assembly and general warehouse duties as required by the daily task list.
- Customer service-related duties to assist the showroom team with their day-to-day duties.
- Other duties as per manager’s request.
- Additional duties as required.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- Class 5 driver’s licence.
- Clean drivers abstract.
- High School graduation or equivalent.
- Previous delivery experience.
- Problem solver who enjoys working in team environment
- Ability to communicate effectively with management, employees, and delivery personnel.
- Customer service related experience is an asset
- Ability to read and comprehend written and printed materials.
- Must be physically fit to handle building materials
- Microsoft Office skills and willingness to learn new software programs.
- Dependable with a focus on safety
- Willingness to learn.
- Ability to work co-operatively in a team environment.
- Knowledge of furniture & lighting industry is an asset
- Bilingualism (French and English) is an asset

**PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS**:

- Must be able to move merchandise weighing up to 50 pounds from the receiving area to the warehouse and place it on shelves.

**Working relationships**
- Reports directly to Home Furniture & Lighting store manager.
