**Job Description**:
What you’ll be doing

Reporting to the Director, Corporate Events - the Events Consultant is responsible for supporting a variety of events for CIBC; liaising with the various business units to maximize efficiencies in the business and provide a seamless, consistent approach to events including the creation and execution of events, the sharing of information and best practices. This role has the delegated responsibility for the successful project management, coordination and execution of events with mínimal direction.

The objective for managing event sponsorship requests through Corporate Events is to ensure that we maximize our Corporate Events opportunities with an adherence to consistent standards and processes associated with working with multiple stakeholders and partners across CIBC.

At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. You’ll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you’ll spend 1-3 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote.

How you’ll succeed-
- Manage - You will manage multiple projects, on time and on budget, to the clients satisfaction. Manage external vendors as required to execute events and programs within scope and with consistency. Manage and maintain external client facing data and follow current procedures to have data updated regularly.- Relationship building - You will build relationships and work with key senior internal stakeholders to centralize event activities, and ensure all events are delivered with consistency and in a timely, effective and cost efficient manner.- Flexibility for travel - There will also be a travel requirement for this role (25% of the time)
