**We are looking for an individual who enjoys working both independently and as part of a team. The individual should have strong relationship building skills, including proven influencing, conflict management and negotiation skills.**
**The role is focused on Vendor Management engagements for technology vendors in the Infrastructure Technology Solutions ( ITS) space, with responsibility for effective vendor governance, contract and performance management and value creation opportunities from vendor relationships.**

**This position reports to the Senior Manager, P&T, Vendor Management Office.**
- **Manage the intake process for a range of vendor relationships that may vary in complexity and criticality as well as maintain compliance with TPRM (Third Party Risk Management) policy and Vendor Management Policy and procedures.**
- **Accountable and responsible for risk, issue management and monthly / quarterly performance management sessions for high-risk vendors and/ or business significant vendors within the specific technology vendor portfolio.**
- **Make an impact by getting things done, focusing on what matters, owning and delivering superior results for all stakeholders in both the short and long-term.**
- **Ultimately responsible for delivery of effective vendor relationship; including service/product delivery, VM governance, performance management, and continuous improvement initiatives.**
- **Applies sound judgment by understanding priorities, dependencies and making pragmatic decisions in the context of enterprise and line of business objectives.**
- **Support the implementation of action/remediation plans to address performance/risk/governance issues.**
- **Represent the needs of the business and/or the Bank and actively participate in contract negotiations and enterprise vendor management governance.**
- **Liaison with internal risk stakeholders, business and technology partners and strategic sourcing groups (SSG) through the life cycle of a contractual engagement.**
- **Understand contractual terms and conditions, and their commercial implications to the business in order to effectively manage vendor agreement(s) and relationship(s) for ongoing monitoring **of the vendors as outlined by the Third-Party Risk Management team.**
- **Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal TD partners and vendor(s) to ensure business priorities requirements are clearly understood and met, and objectives are aligned.**
**Problem & issue management; escalation within vendor governance models**
- **Work on contract renewal extensions and as required on certain contracts( for professional services and/or Software purchases) related to new projects within their portfolio of vendors.**
- **Work on cost saving opportunities and vendor optimization where applicable.**

**Job Requirements**:

- **Extensive experience, minimum 7+ years exp. as a Vendor Mgr. **or a Procurement lead preferably in the information technology space.**
- **Understanding of both Cloud computing types and concepts is a plus.**
- **Highly professional and ability to manage multiple vendor relationships simultaneously.**
- **Experience with Supplier Risk Management and Spend Governance (i.e. Cost savings)**
- **Experience with Contract Governance (i.e. negotiating commercial contracts, not legal)**
- **Experience reviewing contracts & understand the legal & commercial implications**
- **Understand third party risk management.**
- **Experience working with internal stakeholders & communicating effectively**
- **Strong Verbal & written communication skills, attention to detail, customer service & interpersonal skills**
- **Highly proficient in MS Office including but not limited to excel, Power point.**
- **Undergrad degrees in business management, economics, finance, accounting or relevant field.Resilient and comfortable with change and ability to perform under pressure.**
- **Ability to work independently and manage one’s time and ability to coach junior members of the team as and when required.**

**-Certified Third
- Party Risk Management Professional (C3PRMP).**

**-Certified Supplier Management Professional (CSMP)**
- **Experience with third party management tools such as Coupa and SAP Ariba**
