RHS Canada is currently recruiting for a Clinical Oxygen Assistant in Edmonton, AB. We are looking for a dedicated and driven individual to join our passionate local team who is interested in expanding their personal experience supported through our on the job training.
The Clinical Assistant Oxygen is responsible for delivery, setup and instruction on use of home oxygen as prescribed including informing customers of the safety aspects of using oxygen. This also includes picking up and delivering equipment safely and efficiently to and from a wide variety of client’s homes.
- Operates vehicle in a safe manner.
- Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements, following manufacturers’ instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; and arranging for repairs.
- Contributes to the growth of RHS by liaising with medical professionals; providing information/literature to prospective clients; providing demonstration of products and services to prospective clients.
- Provides oxygen equipment, training, and support on safe operation during new client setup and hospitals for quick and efficient client discharges under the supervision of regulated health care professionals.
- Documents client care services by charting in client records. Maintain knowledge of funding systems.
- Maintains client confidence and protects RHS operations by keeping information confidential.
- Assists healthcare professionals with the completion of necessary processes and forms, assisting with the cleaning & maintenance of equipment used for service to clients.
- Contributes to team effort by communicating with regulated health care professionals as required and by working with other staff members to achieve optimal customer experience.
**Are you a MATCH?**
- High School Diploma required, College Certificate or medical background preferred.
- Computer literate in Microsoft Office & Google systems with strong data entry skills.
- Knowledge of safe use and maintenance of homecare equipment an asset.
- 1-2 years of experience technical/customer service related role.
- Satisfactory level of physical fitness to perform physical requirements of position.
